1. Membership
You must have a standard membership to join sessions and socials. Get the standard membership for £10 here studentsunionucl.org/clubs-societies/skate-club.
We organise biweekly sessions, equipment to share*, and socials.
*Committee/members are usually willing to share their own equipment, but inlines and quads are more difficult to share and depend on size availability. If the equipment grant is successful, we may have club-owned inline skates to share (see below). However, we recommend that you have your own equipment and safety gear. Ask for equipment recommendations and/or discounts in our WhatsApp group!
2. Sessions
Skating sessions are held biweekly on Wednesdays and Saturdays. More or beginner-specific sessions may be held subject to demand. Let us know what types of sessions you want in our WhatsApp group.
You are welcome to come and go anytime within 2:00pm-5:00pm. All locations are subject to change depending on weather conditions, keep up to date from our WhatsApp group here linktr.ee/skateucl.

29 October: Social, 1:00pm-3:00pm at IOE Room 944

7. Equipment grant & Indoor venue updates
We have sent in our application for an equipment grant from UCL for inline skates. If successful, club members will be welcome to use the inlines, safety gear, and other equipment during sessions. Fingers crossed!
We are progressing on our search for an indoor venue. Please keep an eye out on the WhatsApp group for an indoor location to be announced soon!
We are always open to more options for venues. If you know any places close to campus and suitable for a big group with beginners to advanced skaters, you are welcome to suggest them to our President, George.
